The best way to know if a machine movement pattern works for you (is bio-mechanically correct) is to try it yourself! It is amusing how many people put their faith in PhDs either positively or negatively. Or "physiologists." Both are mostly useless especially when it comes to training. So is mathematics and physics as any kind of "guide to whether or not a machine will feel correct, or contract the right muscle group for you. So are "top athlete" endorsements. It's all B.S. The only way to know is to try it yourself. The Tru Squat (I have one in my my gym, and I have the original one with two loading pins) is either loved or just tolerated, depending on the genetic structure and condition of the trainee. In my almost 45 years experience as a trainer (20+ of which utilized the Tru Squat in 90% of training programs) I have found that most people loved it. But 2 out of 10 did not.

So this is a much healthier version of the bench press for the shoulders?

Is this an early prototype? The one at our gym has the adjustable barbell holders on either side. However it is like 1 inch too short at the highest setting unless you go raw and ditch the barbell pad. Also why aren’t you showing how to mount and dismount the barbell in this video?

I could do this on my powertec lever gym....plus 600 more different workouts on the machine....so....which one to buy

I don’t see these machines gaining much popularity due to their expensive price tag. I would very much like to build a home gym around this companies series of lever machines but I can’t see myself spending 50-100k USD on a home gym…. The most I would be willing to go is 15k USD…. And that’s pushing it. Sad because I think this company is the second coming of nautilus…. And if they really wanted to become a mainstream success. They should seriously think about a better price point.

Looks good but seems to be missing rowing movements and lat pull down. Hamstring curl and Leg Extension too. If it had those it would be perfect.

Can you do shoulder presses with it? If so, can you do a video of that? I've long thought about a bar that could be used for shoulder presses that doesn't make me crane my head backwards. I even contacted some companies about making one and they said it couldn't be done.

I always loved Ben Pakulski and his programmes until I realized that working out so many times a week was a really bad idea you don't build muscle with volume but with intensity...only using steroids could I have for example do squats 3 times a weekas in one of his programmes..if I had carried on with his programs even with the exercise carried out properly I would have ended up cribbled ..it's a shame because as in this video he really explains alot on training and exercise. Also i had really sore knees which werent given a chance to heal and grow
